Lose to gain. Win to claim.
A fantasy board game for 2 to 4 players. Book the Market with your dice, clash with your rivals, slay the monsters of the Arena and earn the Favore of the crowd.

Chapter IThe Festival begins

“Centuries ago, the priestess Mornel tried to unite every magic to save her people from famine. The ritual failed.”
The old capital fell, and in its place opened the Rift: a wound between worlds that spills out monsters in waves. The survivors learned its rhythm and built Shin Kaishiro around it. Survival became a show: Artalis, the Festival where the finest warriors face the monsters before the crowd. Those warriors are you.
Win the most Favore by the last night. But beware the GYO, the corruption of the Rift: use its power without losing yourself.
Chapter IIA day at the Festival
Each round of Artalis is a day of the Festival. The sun rises and sets, and every phase asks you for a different choice.
Morning
Book the Market cards with your dice, without rolling them. Size is what counts: a D20 claims more than a D6, and you only have one of each.
Afternoon
Alone on a card? It's yours. Rivals on the same card roll their dice and the highest total takes it. Whoever loses gains Karma.
Evening
Roll the dice of your weapon and partner against the monster's Defense. Beat it and earn Favore; fall short and the GYO creeps in.
Night
Collect the Favore of the Objectives, refill the Market, buy new dice and upgrade your gear for the next dawn.
The Festival lasts from 4 to 7 days. When the last night falls, the warrior with the most Favore wins Artalis.

We built a simulator of the whole game: the same cards, the same rules, all four phases. Play on one device passing it around the table, or online with friends, each on their own phone or computer.

Chapter IIIThe game on the table
Every deck is a district of the Festival. Shuffle it, deal it, turn the cards over: these are the real cards of the game.
Gear and allies
Weapons, armour, accessories, partners and familiars to build your hero.
One-shot cards
Flowers fed by corruption: sudden, unstable powers to turn a clash around.
Monsters
Book them in the morning, fight them in the evening: they are your main source of Favore.
Daily challenges
Outside the Market and open to everyone: another road to Favore.

Chapter IVThe rules that matter
Every warrior has a full set, from D4 to D20, and choosing which die to use, and when, is the heart of the game. Never roll two dice of the same size: no card and no power can break this rule.
Total –
Lose to gain
Lose a conflict and you gain Karma: spend it to reroll a die, add a D6 to a roll or draw a card. Defeat is fuel.
Dare to corrupt
The corruption of the Rift. It comes from monsters and from the strongest cards: reach 5 and a permanent Mark is burned into your hero.
Win to claim
The glory of the crowd. Slay monsters and complete Objectives: whoever has the most Favore at the end wins.

Yes, for free. The online simulator lets you play the whole game in your browser, on computer or phone: on one device passing it around the table, or online with friends. Just create your access on this page.
From 2 to 4 players, ages 14 and up. Before you start you choose how long the Festival lasts: 4 days (about 30 to 70 minutes), 5 or 6 days (40 to 90 minutes) or 7 days (60 to 120 minutes).
Less than you might think. In the Morning you place your dice without rolling them: what counts is their size. Dice are rolled to settle conflicts and fights, and even losing pays off, because every lost conflict gives you Karma to reroll, add dice or draw cards.
In the current prototype: 162 illustrated cards, four full sets of dice (one per player), coloured cubes for each player, Favore and Mark tokens, and the Festival card that tracks days and phases. The final contents may still change before production.
